competitions

Whilst you are a student it’s a good idea to enter a national or international design competition. Winning or being commended will mean that you have something decent to talk to future employers and other designers about and will really help you promote yourself as a designer.

Here are a few of our favourites:

Design Taxi review of international creative competitions

International Society of Typographic Designers Student Award

Graeme Robertson Trust Award

D&AD Global Awards

The Association of Photographers Student Awards

Chaumont French Poster Competition

Starpack Student Packaging Awards

Channel 4, EStings

Association of Illustrators, Images

Jerwood Drawing Prize
